Government Approves NSI Rural Support Program

In September, Nepal's Ministry of Health and Population gave full approval to NSI's program of support of rural health care workers (RSSP). This integrated program includes features such improved communication, in-service training of workers in the field, and improved education of hospital staff children. In this pilot phase, we are beginning work in the remote districts of Bajhang, Gulmi, and Dolakha (Jiri).
