NSI Organization Structure
Nick Simons Institute was registered in Nepal as a charitable company in March 2006. The NSI Board is composed mainly of distinguished Nepalese citizens, and Chaired by Dr. Bhekh B. Thapa. The NSI management team works out of headquarters in the Jhamsikhel area of Patan in the Kathmandu Valley.

NSI implements it work through a network of excellent health care institutions, where the functions of training and support of health care workers is carried out. These include Tansen Mission Hospital, Bharatpur Hospital, and others.

A group of professionals working in Nepal constituted the Task Force that originally formulated the concept of NSI. That Task Force has segued into NSI's Technical Advisory Group (TAG), which has a number of active members who have relocated around the world.

Funding for NSI comes from the Simons Foundation, a charitable non-profit organization located in the U.S. A new organization is emerging there, which will take on the funding role for NSI - namely, Nick Simons Foundation.
